The WINDSPOT line of wind turbines will require a preventative maintenance program to reduce the possibility of any failures over this life term. This program will include an inspection every 18 months to verify that the moving parts have not been invaded by some unusual chain of events that could damage the system. The turbine will be lowered to complete the inspection, raised and secured again when the inspection is completed and logged. This process should take approximately 2 hours at a cost of approximately $135 per year.

The manufacturer’s warranty will be 5 years, however an extended warranty can be purchased for a minimal yearly cost. This cost will vary depending on the location.
